How thick should a concrete driveway or patio be?

Driveways are typically 4–5 inches thick for passenger vehicles and 6+ inches for heavier use. Patios and walkways are generally 4 inches thick, depending on the soil and intended use.

Do you handle site preparation and grading before pouring concrete?

Yes. We provide complete site prep including excavation, grading, base compaction, and form setup to ensure proper drainage and a stable foundation before concrete is poured.

How do you protect concrete from Minnesota’s freeze-thaw conditions?

We use high-quality mixes, air-entrained concrete, and proper finishing techniques to withstand harsh winters. We also recommend sealing concrete regularly to protect it from moisture and de-icing salts.
